After serving a year in the Spokane, Washington mission my folks made the trip back home. It is so great to have them back. Having my parents gone for an entire year was tough but I am so proud of them and all the good that they did in Potlatch, Idaho, Deary Idaho and Republic, Washington. The people in those 3 towns were very lucky to have Elder and Sister Durfey for the few months they had them. As you can see from the photo above my mom and dad were greeted by nearly all of the children and grandchildren when they pulled into the driveway. Only 6 of their grandkids were missing in the picture above. All of the kids were lining the sidewalk in front of the house when my mom and dad drove up the street. Many tears of JOY were shed as all the adults watched the kids swarm my mom and dads car to hug them before they were even able to get their seatbelts off. What a great reunion it was!
Welcome home mom and dad!!!
